What Spring Reminds Us About Growth, Grace and Showing Up Anyway
There’s something sacred about April.
The flowers start to bloom. The days grow longer. The air shifts. Trees that were once bare now quietly burst with life.
Did you know spring is actually a time when the earth tilts in just the right way to bring more light into our days? Literally. It’s the season of balance—when day and night are nearly equal in length during the Spring Equinox—and from there, the light only increases.
That alone preaches. It definitely did for me!
Spring is about alignment. About unfolding. About becoming.
And guess what? So are you.
This season, don’t get caught up in the pressure to be done or perfect before you bloom. Nature doesn’t rush—yet everything still unfolds exactly when it’s supposed to.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” —Ecclesiastes 3:11

That scripture reminds us that transformation doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful, and beauty doesn’t have to come fast to be divine. You are not late. You are not behind. You’re becoming—and that’s something to be honored.
As I've been walking through my own season of healing and now feeling as if I'm transitioning into a new season, the in between can be a tricky place. But just on the other side of healing is almost like a dawning of a new day. That sounds very cliche and whimsical, but that's how I can best describe it. You're beginning to see things clearer, dream again, smile, and allowing yourself to unfold as you're supposed to. You care less about who's watching or what others think and more about who you're becoming.
During this season, God has been randomly sharing nuggets with me. Some to save for myself when I need encouragement and others to share. This one I'll share as it aligns perfectly with today's heart share:
“What’s meant for you this season will call for the version of you that’s ready—not perfect, but present. Keep showing up as her, even when you’re still becoming her.”

If that resonates with you, let it remind you that becoming is not about having it all figured out—it’s about showing up with intention, with gentleness, with courage… right where you are.
Maybe for you, “becoming” looks like finally choosing yourself.
Maybe it’s letting go of who you had to be just to survive.
Maybe it’s trying a new look or routine that reflects where your heart is headed, not just where you’ve been or even where you are.
Whatever it looks like—let it be yours.
Try a small change this month that mirrors your growth. Whether it’s a shift in your beauty routine, your mindset, or your morning rhythm—do something that aligns with who you’re becoming.
